Events
The Latinx Cultural Association (LCA) is actively hosting and participating in various events on and off campus. These events showcase the diverse cultural heritage of the Latinx community and provide opportunities for members to engage with the broader community. Here are some of the events organized and participated in by LCA:

Club Showcase
LCA participates in the Club Showcase event during Week of Welcome (WOW) Week, an introductory week for new students. The showcase allows LCA to introduce itself to incoming students, share information about the club's mission and activities, and encourage new members to join.
Culture Fest
LCA participates in Cultural Fest, an event dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the vibrant cultures of Cal Poly. This event typically includes performances, exhibitions, music, dance, traditional food, and interactive activities that engage attendees in learning about cultural customs, traditions, and art forms.

Feed the Farmworkers
LCA collaborates with other organizations to give back to the local farmworker community in Santa Maria. This initiative involves organizing events or activities to support and show appreciation for farmworkers who contribute to the agricultural industry. It may include providing meals, distributing essential supplies, or creating awareness campaigns about farmworker rights and issue

Poly Cultural Weekend (PCW)
LCA actively participates in Poly Cultural Weekend, an annual event that celebrates the diverse cultural backgrounds of Cal Poly's student body. During PCW, LCA showcases Latinx culture through performances, exhibits, and interactive sessions, contributing to the overall cultural richness and exchange during the weekend.

Open House
LCA participates in Open House, an event where prospective students and their families visit the campus to learn more about the university. LCA sets up displays, provides information about the club's activities and opportunities, and engages with visitors to create awareness and interest in joining the organization.
In addition to these events, LCA may organize other activities and initiatives that promote cultural awareness, community engagement, and personal growth within the Latinx community and beyond.

By actively participating in these events and engaging in committee work, LCA creates a dynamic and enriching experience for its members while contributing to the broader campus community's cultural diversity and understanding.
